A familiar face in the South Burnett has been appointed the new CEO at Toowoomba Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE).<\/p>\n

Ali Davenport was the former Darling Downs general manager for Southern Cross Austereo and was a frequent visitor to their Kingaroy radio station, Hit 89.1 FM.<\/p>\n

TSBE executive chairman Shane Charles said Ms Davenport was very highly regarded in the region, very well connected locally and would be a fantastic addition to the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cAli is an outstanding candidate who has the skills and experience we believe will take TSBE and our members on our journey of further success and growth,” he said.<\/p>\n

Ms Davenport’s\u00a0most recent position has been general manager at the Cairns Post newspaper.<\/p>\n

Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio congratulated Ms Davenport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAli has a strong passion and history with our region and I am confident she will continue TSBE\u2019s success in linking local business with opportunity to foster collaboration and growth,” Mayor Antonio said.<\/p>\n

“She will be a great ambassador for our region.\u201d<\/p>\n

The appointment of Ali Davenport as TSBE\u2019s CEO completes an extensive three-month campaign that was led by TSBE Deputy Chairman, Rob Hart.<\/p>\n
