ALDI supermarkets have recalled American-Style Skinless Hot Dogs after pieces of bone were detected in some items.<\/p>\n

The hot dogs were sold in 375g packs and have a Use By Date up to and including January 28, 2018.<\/p>\n

According to ALDI’s notice, issued on Tuesday, the recall is due to potential microbial contamination as well as the presence of bone fragments.<\/p>\n

Food products contaminated with microbial pathogens may cause illness if eaten. Foods containing foreign objects could also cause injury.<\/p>\n

“Consumers should not eat this product,” an ALDI spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.<\/p>\n

“Customers should return the product(s) to their nearest ALDI Store for a full refund. ALDI Stores apologies for any inconvenience caused.”<\/p>\n
