Wet weather has forced the postponement of a road tour scheduled for Tuesday which was to have been part of a push to get State and Federal governments to improve transport links in the western part of the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

The Mundubbera to Jandowae Roads Working Group (RWG) had planned to tour the Chinchilla-Wondai Road (west of Durong) and Mundubbera-Durong Road.<\/p>\n

The tour was also to include John Peterson Bridge, across the Boyne River south of Mundubbera, which would have been replaced with a new $35 million bridge had the LNP won government at the recent State Election.<\/strong><\/p>\n

BIEDO CEO Kirsty Frahm said potential road closures after the recent rain could have prevented some participants from attending.<\/p>\n

“The RWG tour will be rescheduled to a date to be advised,” she said.<\/p>\n
