Murgon cricketers Courtney Sippel and Renee Irvine have been named in the Queensland Under 18 squad.<\/p>\n

It’s been a big year for Renee in particular, who debuted for the Queensland Fire at just 16 and was named St Mary’s Catholic College’s Sportswoman of the Year.<\/p>\n

The U18 National Female Championships will get underway in Canberra next week.<\/p>\n

The Queenslanders’ first game will be against ACT \/ NSW Country on Monday.<\/p>\n

They will then come up against a Cricket Australia XI, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, NSW Metro, South Australia (again), ACT \/ NSW Country (again) and NSW Metro (again).<\/p>\n

The finals will be played from December 7.<\/p>\n
