St Mary’s Catholic College kicked off the South Burnett’s 2017 formal season on Tuesday night with its annual Valedictory Dinner for Year 12 students at the Kingaroy Town Hall.<\/p>\n

Thirty couples – all dressed to impress – arrived in a range of fancy vehicles, ranging from classic Fords and Holdens to a Kenworth prime mover and a bright yellow Jeep.<\/p>\n

A crowd of proud relatives and friends waited impatiently in the Town Hall Forecourt as each vehicle pulled up, hoping to catch a glimpse – and grab a photo – of each couple as they paraded up the red carpet into the hall.<\/p>\n

The vehicles were carefully spaced to allow the couples plenty of time to make their entrance.<\/p>\n

Any gaps were skillfully filled in by P&F president Damien Martoo and teacher Rom Sudall who kept up a running commentary on clothing and cars.<\/p>\n

And for the first time in the South Burnett, the arrivals were live-streamed on Facebook. A string of videos can be found on St Mary’s Catholic College’s Facebook page<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
