November 14, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

A fire which destroyed a house in Hamilton Road, South Nanango, on November 6 has been ruled to be not suspicious.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Investigators from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service were called to inspect the ruined building after firefighters could not determine what sparked the blaze.<\/p>\n

However, police and fire investigators have determined the cause of the fire to be non-suspicious and investigations are now finalised.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Last Wednesday,\u00a0 emergency services were called to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of the D\u2019Aguilar Highway and Nanango-Tarong Road, Nanango, about 4:00am. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Investigations as to the cause of the crash are continuing.<\/p>\n

Also last week, police pulled over a vehicle on Burnett Street, Nanango. <\/strong><\/p>\n

A 17-year-old Kingaroy man\u00a0 was issued a notice to appear in the Nanango Magistrates Court on December 23 for unlicenced driving.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On Friday, Nanango Police were called to a single vehicle crash on Old Esk North Road at Nanango.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

No one was injured in the incident however police located a drug utensil at the scene and a 17-year-old male was offered\u00a0the opportunity to take part in the Drug Diversion Program.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Nanango police attempted to stop a blue Holden Commodore on Nanango-Brooklands Road, Nanango, about 2:15pm but the vehicle allegedly evaded police.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

On Sunday, a 22-year-old male Nanango man was arrested in relation to this incident and will face four charges: fail to stop motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified and possessing a drug utensil. <\/p>\n

He is due to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on December 7.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Between November 9 at 2:00pm and November 12 at 6:00pm, unknown persons gained entry to a house on Kingaroy-Cooyar Road at Tarong.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Three drivers pulled over by police in separate incidents in Nanango over the past few days have received notices to appear in Nanango Magistrates Court on December 7:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • A 42-year-old Nanango man will face a charge of drink driving after allegedly recording a BAC of 0.090.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • A 21-year-old Nanango man and a 23-year-old Kingaroy woman will each face charges of unlicensed driving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
