Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister Senator James McGrath made the trek to Kingaroy on Saturday to officially open local Member Deb Frecklington’s campaign office.<\/p>\n

Senator McGrath addressed the group of LNP faithful gathered in Haly Street, reminding them of how great they felt when the LNP gained office in 2012 and how bad they felt in in 2015 when they lost power.<\/p>\n

He urged them to keep working hard to “make certain we get this person (Deb Frecklington) to replace Jackie Trad as Deputy Premier of Queensland, to make sure that rural and regional Queensland have a voice around the Cabinet table”.<\/p>\n

Mrs Frecklington told her supporters they had an amazing opportunity at this election.<\/p>\n

“We have two weeks left … to make sure Queensland gets back into the hands of the LNP,” she said.<\/p>\n

She praised the South Burnett residents who had confronted Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk at the Kumbia Races about vegetation management.<\/p>\n

“We have a Labor Party that is completely captured by the loony Left,” she said.<\/p>\n

Mrs Frecklington re-iterated the LNP catchphrase, describing the Palaszczuk Government as a “do-nothing” government, saying there had been up to 178 reviews ordered rather than decisions made, and $3 billion less spent on infrastructure than under the LNP government.<\/p>\n

“Labor don’t know how to administer government and they certainly don’t how to spend money in the bush,” she said.<\/p>\n

“I am more than willing to get to work as Deputy Premier of this State.”<\/p>\n

Mrs Frecklington officially launched her “How To Vote” card on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As predicted, first preference has been given to One Nation candidate Douglas Grant, followed by the ALP’s Ben Rankin and Green candidate John Harbison.<\/p>\n
