The new Optus tower which has been erected on land at the rear of the Kingaroy Youth Park<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Work has been completed on a new Optus phone tower which has been erected at the rear of the Youth Park in Somerset Street, Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The “Kingaroy Central” tower was announced in October as part of a multi-million dollar investment by Optus in 13 new mobile sites across central and western Queensland.<\/p>\n

Other new Optus sites include similar towers in Yarraman and Maidenwell.<\/p>\n

“These new sites will improve call quality and offer faster internet streaming via Optus\u2019 4G plus network,” a company spokesman said.<\/p>\n

“This is great news for local customers and businesses looking for even better Optus network coverage across the South Burnett region.”<\/p>\n

The three new towers are part of a $6 million commitment by Optus for new mobile towers across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
