A GoFundMe page has been set up to help a South Nanango couple who lost everything in a house fire on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The timber home in Hamilton Road was well alight when firemen arrived and was gutted in the blaze.<\/p>\n

Daughter Pia Strange, from Barkers Creek Flat, has set up the GoFundMe page to help her parents, Jeff and Debby Strange.<\/p>\n

The couple moved into their home in 2005.<\/p>\n

“My Dad has spent years doing up his little piece of paradise that he was so proud to call his own,” Pia wrote.<\/p>\n

“My mum had spent countless days baking away in her small yet lovable kitchen, her happy place where she made the most delicious cakes.<\/p>\n

“This is such a devastating time for the both of them.<\/p>\n

“I am not one to normally asked for anything, but today I am asking if you can spare anything at all so we can help my parents get back up from the ground.<\/p>\n

“The most heartbreaking of all is, unfortunately they have no insurance due to financial hardship in these last few years.<\/p>\n

“They were slowly starting to get on top of things with Dad finally catching a break and finding some work three months ago. They have a very long and sad road ahead of them.”<\/p>\n

By Thursday afternoon, Pia had raised $4210.<\/p>\n
