The South Burnett Regional Council declared the annual South Burnett Christmas Lights Competition officially open on Friday.<\/p>\n

The popular competition offers many prizes, including family holidays to Singapore and cash payments of up to $1000, thanks to major sponsors Hancock Prospecting and the Georgina Hope Foundation.<\/p>\n

The main prize – for the South Burnett Champion – is a trip to Singapore for two adults and two children (up to 12 years of age) including return economy, full-service flights from Brisbane to Singapore. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The trip includes five nights\u2019 accommodation at the Shangri La Hotel in a tower wing, deluxe room with breakfast daily.<\/p>\n

Return private transfers between Singapore Airport and the Shangri La Hotel, High Tea at Raffles, and comprehensive travel insurance are also included.<\/p>\n

This holiday is worth an estimated $15,000.<\/p>\n

The second prize – for the South Burnett Champion Runner Up – is a trip to Singapore for two adults and two children (up to 12 years). <\/strong><\/p>\n

This trip also includes flights, transfers, Raffles High Tea and travel insurance, with five (5) nights\u2019 accommodation at the Traders Hotel, in a superior room, with breakfast daily.<\/p>\n

This holiday is valued at an estimated $10,000.<\/p>\n

Entries in the competition will close on Monday, November 27 and the Council asks that all competitors have their lights on for judging between 7:00pm and 11:00pm from Monday, December 4 onwards.<\/p>\n
