A South Burnett scene will feature on the Christmas cards which will be distributed this year by Member for Maranoa David Littleproud.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Mr Littleproud invited entries from photographers in his electorate for his “Celebrating the Australian Spirit of Christmas” competition.<\/p>\n

Richard Henderson, from Kingaroy, entered a dramatic photograph of the Milky Way above an iconic windmill.<\/p>\n

This earned him first prize and a $100 store voucher.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Photos by seven runners-up in the competition will also feature on the card, including a sunset at Gordonbrook Dam by Christian Andersen, from Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The other runners-up were Elisha Pedler, Naomi Gearon, Ray Woodrow, Steven Casper, Cam Moon and Jenny Underwood.<\/p>\n

Each runner-up will receive a $50 voucher.<\/p>\n

“Thank you to everyone who submitted photos; there were more than 100 entries, capturing our wonderful Maranoa,” Mr Littleproud said.<\/p>\n
