Summer 7s Premiership winners Wests White<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

After six weeks of social and competitive 7-a-side soccer, Kingaroy Senior Soccer’s Summer 7s were finalised on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

In the Competitive Division, Wests White took out the premiership over close rivals Nanango White.<\/p>\n

In the Social Competition, it was Wests who saw off all the other teams with a very consistent performance over the past six weeks.<\/p>\n

The whole promotion by the Kingaroy Club has been a resounding success. \u00a0It has brought in new players, wives and girlfriends, players out of retirement and past players, most of whom have indicated that they are interested in playing full-time during the main football season in 2013.<\/p>\n

It is the club’s intention to run a similar six-week competition in the New Year commencing on January 23 and finishing on February 27.<\/p>\n

This will prove to be the ideal pre-season preparation for all local clubs and teams in getting sufficient player numbers for the start of the main Evolution Solar Soccer league, which will kick off on March 23, 2013.<\/p>\n
