Community Health Nurse Kathy Crane has teamed up with Proston Library and the local ambulance service to help improve the health and\u00a0well-being of some of the Proston’s smallest residents.<\/p>\n

Kathy joined Librarian Julie Manning and QAS officer Nolan “Jonesy\u2019” Jones recently to present a “Rhyme Time” session that included extra information about CPR awareness and infant first aid.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe regular Rhyme Time sessions are focused on making talking, reading and singing with\u00a0your child a part of your daily routine,\u201d Kathy said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe special session was organised to include additional health information.\u201d<\/p>\n

A group of 13 parents and their babies gathered for the discussion and\u00a0demonstrations.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a great opportunity to partner with other people in the community to ensure local babies\u00a0have the best start to life,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Rhyme Time is held at the Proston Library on the first and third Tuesday of every month\u00a0from 9:00am.<\/p>\n
