Yarraman and Cooyar residents have been invited to nominate groups and people who have gone “above and beyond” in their service for others for the 2018 Toowoomba Regional Council Australia Day awards.<\/p>\n

Australia Day co-ordinating committee chairman Cr Mike Williams said residents should lodge their nominations by Tuesday, October 31.<\/p>\n

The awards are administered by local committees, a co-ordinating committee and an awards committee on behalf of the Toowoomba Regional Council.<\/p>\n

They operate at two levels \u2013 local and regional.<\/p>\n

Local Australia Day committees select each local award category winner and may forward nominations to the awards committee to be considered for a regional award.<\/p>\n

Nominations can be made\u00a0online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
