Canadian duo Madison Violet … playing at The Shed in Nanango this week<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Touring Canadian vocal duo Madison Violet will be dropping into The Shed at Nanango next week to perform their special blend of folk, pop and\u00a0Americana.<\/p>\n

The duo – Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac –\u00a0have cut seven albums together since they first met in 1999 in Toronto.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Madison Violet have acquired a\u00a0Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Vocal Group Album of the Year, a Critic\u2019s\u00a0Choice award from Country Music People\u2019s Magazine as well as a nomination at the prestigious Juno awards.<\/p>\n

Their songs have been featured\u00a0in the music magazine MOJO\u2019s Top 10 Playlist, and have won praise on the BBC, \u00a0CBC and NPR.<\/p>\n

Their 2015 single \u2018These Ships\u2019 attracted more than one million plays on Spotify.<\/p>\n

Madison Violet were interviewed by ABC Radio Brisbane recently about their Australian tour.<\/p>\n

They will be at The Shed on Wednesday (October 4) from 7:00pm.<\/p>\n
