3:00pm:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Multiple fire crews are attending another bushfire burning in the Taromeo area … this time near Taromeo Rise and Old Esk Road.<\/p>\n

The fire broke out about 1:00pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesperson said it was not threatening property at this time but was producing large volumes of smoke.<\/p>\n

Residents should close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by.<\/p>\n

Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.<\/p>\n

If residents are concerned their property is under threat they should call Triple Zero (000) immediately.<\/p>\n

4:00pm:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Smoke may be affecting Benarkin residents, including those in the vicinity of Hilary Road, Gibson Road, Martin Crescent, Cameron Road, Old Esk Road and McLaughlan Road.<\/p>\n
