Construction work began this week on the new footpath past the soccer fields at Wondai<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

September 18, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

The South Burnett Regional Council has begun building a new concrete footpath along the eastern side of the Bunya Highway at Wondai.<\/p>\n

The footpath will run from the Wondai Sportsground and soccer fields to the entrance of the Wondai Industrial Estate.<\/p>\n

It will extend a new footpath linking the CBD to the Sportsground which was built last year.<\/p>\n

Construction works will include excavations and the installation of box culverts.<\/p>\n

In order to provide a safe work environment, public access to the site will be limited, however a council spokesperson said no disruption to the public was foreseen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
