Keen dancers will travel long distances to cut a rug, which the Kumbia Hall Committee proved at their recent Springtime Ball.<\/p>\n

There were dancers from as far away as Mooloolaba and Toowoomba keen to hit the dance floor as the Darryl and Chris from the Joy Times cut loose on stage with their saxophone and keyboards.<\/p>\n

The dance was held to mark the hall’s 95th birthday, so organisers were a little disappointed the attendance wasn’t greater … particularly as the hall looked a treat.<\/p>\n

But the dancers\u00a0who were there enjoyed twirling around to the Old Time dancing as well as the supper, prepared out back of the hall by a small cohort of dedicated volunteers.<\/p>\n
