Yarraman students were eager to learn more about the Reading Bug Egg\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

December 10, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

The rare \u201cReading Bug Egg\u201d rolled into Yarraman State School on Friday for a rest and to hear a whole new bunch of stories.<\/p>\n

The students at Yarraman were very excited to see the egg and are looking forward to reading some exciting stories to it during their last week of school.<\/p>\n

Each student was given a “Bug Bag” to take home with information on healthy eating, getting active, the benefits of reading and being Sun Smart.<\/p>\n

The Egg will be at the school until Friday before it travels back to Nanango for a stay at CTC Nanango Hub & Community Kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is very important that we keep reading to the Egg over the school holidays, as we hope to see it hatch in the first few weeks back at school in 2013,\u201d Egg curator Berneice Hilly from RHealth said.<\/p>\n
