NBN Co has switched on a new fixed wireless broadband tower at Lower Wonga East, the latest of 18 new sites activated throughout Australia last month.<\/p>\n

Regional Communications Minister Fiona Nash said the 18 new sites would reach 3747 homes and businesses.<\/p>\n

\u201cCustomers love fixed wireless,” Ms Nash said.<\/p>\n

\u201c(It) has the highest satisfaction rating on the NBN and offers speeds of up to 50mbps download and 20mbps a second upload.”<\/p>\n

She said almost 200,000 homes and businesses in regional and rural Australia were already connected to the fixed wireless network.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
