The Nanango Uniting Church Adult Fellowship’s annual Daffodil Day Lunch will raise money for the Queensland Cancer Council using locally-grown daffodils<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Nanango Uniting Church Adult Fellowship will be holding its annual Daffodil Day Lunch from noon this Friday (August 25) at the Nanango Cultural Centre.<\/p>\n

This popular annual event features a two course meal with lots of raffle prizes and a plant, fruit and vegetable and sweets stall.<\/p>\n

Locally grown Daffodils are a feature of the event and will also be for sale.<\/p>\n

Entertainment for the day will be from the Blackbutt Singers and a guest speaker relevant to the Daffodil Day cause will be present.<\/p>\n

Tickets at $15.00 per person will be available from the Nanango Information Centre in Henry Street, but need to be booked by August 21.<\/p>\n

The Adult Fellowship holds a number of morning tea and concert events throughout the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Part of the proceeds of these events goes to the Uniting Church Blue Care Service, the local school chaplaincy program, and UCA Frontier Services which support outback Australia.<\/p>\n

The next concert will be on Tuesday, October 17 at 9:30am in the Uniting Church Hall in Gipps Street, Nanango<\/p>\n

The Adult Fellowship meets periodically through the year at the Gipps Street Uniting Church Hall.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The next meeting will be held on Friday, September 1 at 1:30 pm.<\/p>\n

If you are an adult looking for a few hours of chat and fellowship, you are most welcome to come along.<\/p>\n
