Nanango’s annual medieval celebration – which originally had been due to be held this weekend – has been cancelled.<\/p>\n

The new organisers, Creative Connections, announced on Facebook on August 11 the difficult decision had been made, but the event was planned to go ahead next year.<\/p>\n

“Regrettably Medieval Mayhem and the Feast have been cancelled,” the Facebook post read.<\/p>\n

“There was a lack of response from stall holders and participants so the difficult decision was made today.<\/p>\n

“Both will definitely be on next year and, to be sure, planning will start next week.<\/p>\n

“If you want to be a part of the planning team please drop in or give us a call on 0423-830-224. We will welcome your comments and input.”<\/p>\n

This year would have been the event’s fifth outing in Nanango.<\/p>\n
