August 11, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Nanango Race Club will be holding its Nanango Cup Race Meeting at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday, August 12.<\/p>\n

The Nanango Cup is always one of the club’s busiest meetings of the year.<\/p>\n

Because of a large number of acceptances, Saturday’s card will feature six races rather than the usual five.<\/p>\n

The winners of the 2016-17 Premierships will be announced, along with the traditional Blessing Of The Jockeys ceremony.<\/p>\n

The meeting will also offer guests an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar, as well as the Champagne@TheBit Cocktail Bar.<\/p>\n

The meeting’s theme is “Basic Black With A Splash” and guests who dress to it can win prizes in the spot Fashions Of The Field competition.<\/p>\n

Buses will be leaving Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at 12:00 noon and the Nanango RSL at 12:30pm.<\/p>\n

Gates will open about 11:00am with Race 1 leaving the barriers at 1:05pm.<\/p>\n
