This money, less a small amount for printing costs, is then set aside for local charities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So far I have accumulated $600 in just five weeks,&#8221; Dawn told <strong>southburnett.com.au<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She has already presented $250 to the Ulysses motorcycle club, who have told her they will use the money to help SBcare.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, she presented a cheque for $300 to South Burnett CTC&#8217;s Youth and Family Services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;This will be going straight to emergency relief,&#8221; Youth and Family Services manager Kirsten Firman said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is an incredible need in the community and demand on emergency relief.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dawn said she hoped she would be able to raise $5000 a year, however she would also continue to support her two favourite charities, the Hear and Say Centre, and Relay For Life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kingaroy businesswoman Dawn
