A crowd-funding page has been set up to help a rodeo rider badly injured in a single vehicle crash at Gilla earlier this week.<\/p>\n

Angus Ridney, from Nindigully, was the sole occupant of the LandCruiser trayback which left the D’Aguilar Highway between Yarraman and Blackbutt, ran down an embankment and crashed into a tree.<\/p>\n

Mr Ridney, 21, was trapped in the vehicle for several hours before being freed by QFES personnel.<\/p>\n

He was taken to Nanango Hospital and then flown to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.<\/p>\n

Sophie Weeden set up the GoFundMe page which has raised $7155 in just three days towards Mr Ridney’s medical expenses and other costs.<\/p>\n

Members of the rodeo community have also rallied around to make donations to his family.<\/p>\n
