A truck driver had a lucky escape when his B-Double left the road and flipped on its side near Benarkin on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred just after 8:30pm on the D’Aguilar Highway, about two kilometres east of Benarkin.<\/p>\n

The B-Double, which was carrying empty produce boxes, was heading towards Blackbutt when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

An ambulance was called to the scene but the driver did not require treatment.<\/p>\n

Police and QFES from Blackbutt also attended.<\/p>\n

SES volunteers directed traffic around the incident.<\/p>\n

One lane of the highway remained open while emergency vehicles were on the scene.<\/p>\n

The wrecked truck was due to be righted and removed by heavy lift vehicles from Claytons Towing during the early hours of Monday morning.<\/p>\n
