Farmers and agribusiness have just 10 days to have a say on what the shape of research, development and extension in the agriculture and food sectors should look like over the next 10 years.<\/p>\n

The State Government is developing a “roadmap” as part of its Advance Queensland initiative, a $405 million suite of programs designed to create the knowledge-based jobs of the future.<\/p>\n

A discussion paper<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(6.3Mb PDF) has been released which includes a range of questions for landholders to consider.<\/p>\n

Feedback can be submitted at any of the seven forums being held around the State.<\/p>\n

The nearest to the South Burnett is at Toowoomba on Thursday (July 20) from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Picnic Point, 164 Tourist Road. <\/p>\n

Registrations can be made on the Eventbrite website<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Feedback can also be submitted online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
