Budding Indigenous entrepreneurs have been invited to apply for assistance from Barayamal’s business accelerator program.<\/p>\n

“Barayamal’s Budding Entrepreneurs Program will accelerate the success of four Indigenous entrepreneurs by providing free working space at Australia\u2019s largest community of scalable tech start-ups, Fishburners (in Brisbane),” Barayamal\u00a0CEO Dean Foley said.<\/p>\n

The successful applicants will also take part in a three-month Entrepreneurship Development Program, receiving mentoring from successful Indigenous and non-Indigenous entrepreneurs as well as attending workshops and training.<\/p>\n

Applications close on\u00a0August 27.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Barayamal founder and CEO Dean Foley served five years in the RAAF before founding Barayamal, and is currently studying a Master of Business Administration at Griffith University and a Master of Business (Marketing) at the Queensland University of Technology.<\/p>\n

He is also a proud Kamilaroi man who grew up within the Aboriginal community in Gunnedah, NSW.<\/p>\n

“Barayamal” is the Kamilaroi word for “black swan”.<\/p>\n
