Four fire crews have been called to a grass fire burning in the vicinity of Allens Road, South Nanango.<\/p>\n

The fire broke out about 11:45am and crews are working to contain the blaze.<\/p>\n

A QFES spokesman said residents in Nanango and the surrounding area may be affected by smoke haze, and should keep doors and windows closed.<\/p>\n

Motorists in the area should drive with caution and keep an eye out for firefighters.<\/p>\n

Any residents concerned their property is under threat should call Triple Zero (000) immediately.<\/p>\n
