A Kingaroy student has earned an important award from the Brisbane School of Distance Education.<\/p>\n

Year 11 student Eline Beijsins, 16, from St Mary’s Catholic College, has been presented with a Senior School Subject Award for Ancient History.<\/p>\n

Eline is one of two students at St Mary’s who took subjects this year via Distance Education.<\/p>\n

Her supervisor, \u00a0teacher Chris Cook, said the award meant Eline had topped all Distance Education students in the subject.<\/p>\n

The Brisbane School of Distance Education serves students from around Queensland and the world.<\/p>\n
