RACQ LifeFlight)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>May 21, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington has again called for more road funding to be spent on a section of the New England Highway between Cooyar and Crows Nest.<\/p>\n<p>This follows a single-vehicle on Sunday morning which blocked the highway for several hours.<\/p>\n<p>Two people were injured when a 4WD pulling a caravan overturned and spread debris across the road near Pinelands about 7:45am.<\/p>\n<p>The LifeFlight Surat Basin Aeromedical Service helicopter &#8211; which usually services the gas fields &#8211;\u00a0landed on the highway to transport an elderly woman to Toowoomba Hospital with suspected internal injuries.<\/p>\n<p>She travelled in a stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>A man in the vehicle was taken by road ambulance to the same hospital for assessment.<\/p>\n<p>The LifeFlight critical care doctor and flight paramedic assisted both Queensland Ambulance Service and the Queensland Fire
