Murgon’s Mens Shed will be manning the barbecue at the Open House which is being held at the Murgon Town Hall tonight (Tuesday)<\/p>\n

The Open House will have a focus on local businesses, and has been organised by BIEDO as part of Queensland Small Business Week celebrations in the region.<\/p>\n

It provides an opportunity for businesspeople to network and chat with local politicians.<\/p>\n

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Llew O\u2019Brien, will be the guest speaker and will also “meet and greet” with local residents.<\/p>\n

State Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington, South Burnett Regional Council Mayor Keith Campbell and councillors will also be there, and there will be trade and information stands to browse.<\/p>\n

“We hope businesses and organisations take advantage of this great opportunity to network, share and gather information relevant to small business in our region,” BIEDO CEO Kristy Frahm said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We encourage people to bring along some business cards (if they have them) to distribute during the evening, and also pop one into the draw for a fantastic prize … a heavily discounted cinema advertising package kindly donated by Torkit Business Solutions.<\/p>\n

“Murgon Men\u2019s Shed will have a barbecue dinner available for purchase from 5:00pm and Mon-Dee Coffee 2 Go will also be in attendance from 5:00pmn to 8:00pm.<\/p>\n

“Murgon Tyre and Auto and Murgon Outdoor Equipment have generously provided a $100 voucher to be raffled, and tickets will be available at the door.<\/p>\n
