April 17, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

A woman has been flown to Royal Brisbane Hospital with suspected spinal and head injuries after two vehicles collided on the Burnett Highway north of Nanango on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

The crash occurred about 11:00am near the intersection with Kings Bridge East Road at Wyalla, midway between Nanango and Goomeri.<\/p>\n

Police, QFES and ambulance officers attended the incident; an off-duty paramedic was one of the first on the scene.<\/p>\n

The highway was blocked while two injured women were treated.<\/p>\n

RACQ LifeFlight’s Toowoomba-based helicopter landed near the crash the site, and transported a woman aged in her 50s to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.<\/p>\n

A LifeFlight spokesperson said the woman\u00a0suffered pelvis, back, neck and head injuries.<\/p>\n

A woman aged in her 40s was taken by road ambulance to Murgon Hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n

The Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.<\/p>\n

A man aged in his 20s was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital after a single vehicle crash in Kingaroy on Monday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The man’s Mitsubishi Lancer left the road and crashed into some scrub.<\/p>\n
