The Iseppi family from Dalby – familiar faces around the local show ring with their Red Angus cattle – have taken out the top beef trophies at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show.<\/p>\n

Gavin and Kirrily Iseppi only entered one animal in the competitions, a five-year-old female “GK Red Ruba 26 G40”.<\/p>\n

The cow, with calf at foot, won the Grand Champion Red Angus female, the Urquhart Trophy for Grand Champion interbreed female and then Supreme Beef Exhibit of the Show.<\/p>\n

She then was paired with a bull, RDMG Red Solo Cup – shown by the Wheeler family from central-western NSW – to win the Hordern Trophy for an interbreed pair.<\/p>\n

The Iseppis also won this prestigious trophy in 2014.<\/p>\n

“GK Red Ruba 26 G40” has tasted success in Sydney before.<\/p>\n

She was best Red Angus Exhibit and Supreme Beef Female at the 2015 Royal Easter Show.<\/p>\n
