South Burnett Regional Council will be holding another round of its wild dog and feral pig baiting program between May 8-12.<\/p>\n

A Council spokesperson advised owners of domestic and working dogs to restrain or muzzle their dogs during the baiting program to minimise the risk of them wandering and picking up poison baits.<\/p>\n

The dog and pig baiting program is run in conjunction with Biosecurity Queensland.<\/p>\n

Residents who intend to lay baits must first register with the South Burnett Regional Council and ensure that all notification and administrative requirements are fulfilled before attending a baiting station.<\/p>\n

Baiting stations will be located throughout the South Burnett between 8-12 May 2017.<\/p>\n
