2015 champions Kimberley Crawley and Craig Dodd have taken out the latest Queensland Indigenous Golf Championships, played at Murgon at the weekend.<\/p>\n

The annual championship, run by Golf Queensland, is played over 54 holes, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander amateur players come from across Queensland to take part.<\/p>\n

Dodd, from Blackwater, \u00a0played rounds of 72-69-72 for a three-over total of 213 to take the men’s trophy.<\/p>\n

He was closely followed home by twin brother – and last year’s winner – Rickie Dodd, from Windaroo Lakes, who finished on 218<\/p>\n

Shane Bird, from Wondai, was the first of the local golfers home, in third place on 221.<\/p>\n

Peter Bligh, from Murgon, wasn’t far behind in fifth spot on 223.<\/p>\n

Joseph Green (Gympie) took out the Overall Nett Prize with a three round score of 200.<\/p>\n

Kimberley Crawley (Maroochy River) won the Women\u2019s Championship with three rounds of 78-77-72 for 227.<\/p>\n

Wondai golfer Noel Bird took out the Senior\u2019s Division with a total of 245.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Murgon golfers Lindsay Bligh and Kevin Watson came second and third in the Seniors competition with scores of 252 and 256 respectively.<\/p>\n
