2012 Grand Final winners … “Shorts and Skirts”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

November 21, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sharp shooting by “Shorts and Skirts” goal attack Libby Daniels in the third-quarter overpowered “High School Teachers” in the Mixed Netball grand final played in Kingaroy this evening.<\/p>\n

Scores were drawn 4-all after the first quarter.<\/p>\n

Daniels took over the Goal Attack role in the second quarter, landing six out of 10 attempts.<\/p>\n

At half-time, “Shorts and Skirts” was ahead 11-7.<\/p>\n

In the third quarter, Daniels struck again, chalking up an impressive 11 goals from 12 shots, taking the score to 22-9.<\/p>\n

“High School Teachers” \u00a0rallied in the last quarter, dominating the court with strong attacking moves which placed their shooters in range.<\/p>\n

Teachers’ GA Steve Moore landed seven from 12 attempts but it was all too late.<\/p>\n

The final score was “Shorts and Skirts” 28, “High School Teachers” 18.<\/p>\n
