Some very lucky young South Burnett dancers have the trip of a lifetime planned later this year … and it includes a trip to Disneyland!<\/p>\n

A group of 22 dancers from the Kingaroy Dance Academy have been invited to dance in the Disney Christmas Parade.<\/p>\n

“It’s the first time that a South Burnett dance school has been invited to dance at Disneyland!” said proud mum, Abigail Andersson.<\/p>\n

The dancers, who range in age from seven to 18, will also be performing at Universal Studios and on Hollywood Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The children will fly out of Australia on December 7.<\/p>\n

Taking 22 children to the United States won’t be cheap – the estimated cost is $3500 per dancer – so the fundraising has begun.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, parents helped by their eager children, organised a car boot sale in the car park of the Broadway Hotel in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

There was everything from toys and kitchen appliances, to books and clothing.<\/p>\n

A sausage sizzle, raffles and face painting also added to the fundraising.<\/p>\n
