More than 200 members of the Australian Caravan Club will be heading to Kingaroy next month for a special club muster.<\/p>\n

Club chairman Craig Humphrey said the\u00a0muster would \u00a0be held at Kingaroy Showgrounds from March 9-14.<\/p>\n

\u201cRegistrations for the Kingaroy Chairman\u2019s Muster have far exceeded expectations,\u201d \u00a0Mr Humphrey said.\u00a0 \u201cSo far, we have over 200 people coming in 105 RVs and registrations have not yet closed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to say, the attractions that the South Burnett region has to offer have sparked quite a wave of interest amongst members.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Humphrey said members would share friendship and swap travelling tales, but would also have plenty to see and do during their stay.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cActivities on the proposed agenda include a night visit to the Kingaroy Observatory, a visit to the Endeavour Biscuit Factory, attending South Burnett Wine and Food in the Park, a catered dinner, and morning tea at Mulanah Gardens,” he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cOur club is very grateful to the support that we have been receiving from the South Burnett Regional Council, South Burnett Show Society, and the people of the Kingaroy community who have provided tremendous assistance to our muster committee with the organisation of this event.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe proceeds of any raffles will be donated to LifeFlight.<\/p>\n

\u201cRegions in which our Club\u2019s Chairman and national musters are held receive an economic boost as members shop, dine out, buy fuel, purchase groceries souvenirs and other necessities, and visit local attractions.<\/p>\n
