The Cooyar Agricultural Society will be breaking new ground this Saturday night with a sparkling Cocktail Party at Cooyar Memorial Hall.<\/p>\n

The cocktail party will replace the Cooyar Show Ball, the traditional curtain-raiser for the Show, but will retain many of its most popular features.<\/p>\n

Doors will open at 6:30pm, and guests will be able to enjoy a finger food buffet, a licensed bar, DJ entertainment and a special cocktail bar that will serve everything from exotic cocktails to non-alcoholic mocktails.<\/p>\n

Entrants and winners of this year’s Miss Cooyar Showgirl and Miss Teen Showgirl will be announced during the course of the evening, and a Junior Princess – for girls aged under 12 – will be judged from the floor.<\/p>\n

There will also be a photo booth, along with a kid’s zone which will provide a safe, fun place for children to hang out during the evening.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for young people aged 12-17, and $5 for children aged 3-11.<\/p>\n

Organiser Jacinta Ryan said originally all tickets were going to be sold by pre-bookings, but there were still some available and they’ll be sold at the door.<\/p>\n
