A boy was seriously injured when his pushbike was struck by a car in the South Burnett on Thursday.<\/p>\n

An RACQ LifeFlight spokesperson said the school-aged boy was urgently airlifted to Brisbane.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred about 40km from Murgon.<\/p>\n

A LifeFlight helicopter was despatched from Brisbane about noon to retrieve the seriously injured child from Murgon Hospital.<\/p>\n

The boy, who suffered suspected head injuries, was flown to the Lady Cilento Children\u2019s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
