The Kingaroy-based Melanoma Awareness Foundation will be able to spread its message a bit further thanks to the recent touch football carnival organised by Bean Growers Australia.<\/p>\n

The all-day event, held at T.J. O’Neill Oval, had eight teams competing for the honour of winning the inaugural Workplace Warriors Funday trophy and $1000 to give to their charity of choice.<\/p>\n

Fiedler Brothers Plumbing, captained by Todd Fiedler, proved unstoppable on the day, downing The Dominators (Domino’s Pizzas) in the Grand Final.<\/p>\n

Peter Carstairs, from Bean Growers Australia, presented Todd with the winner’s cheque on Friday.<\/p>\n

In turn, Todd presented the $1000 to a very grateful Melanoma\u00a0Awareness Foundation CEO\u00a0Brett Ott, who said the money would allow the Foundation to continue its awareness work in local schools.<\/p>\n
