The Henry Street upgrade will affect travellers using the D'Aguilar and Burnett Highways (the area being upgraded is shown in red)<\/figcaption><\/figure>November 16, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

A $1.2 million project to upgrade a section of Henry Street in Nanango has begun.<\/p>\n

Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington said the work, between Appin Street and Elk Street, included replacing the existing road surface to provide motorists with safer and smoother travelling conditions.<\/p>\n

The majority of work will be carried out between 6:00pm and 6:00am.<\/p>\n

Traffic management measures, including speed restrictions and lane closures, will be in place for the duration of the work.<\/p>\n

\u201cI urge all motorists to drive to the changed traffic conditions and obey all signage and traffic controllers\u2019 directions,\u201d Mrs Frecklington said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d also like to take this opportunity to thank all motorists in advance for their co-operation and patience while works are underway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pensar Civil Pty Ltd will undertake the works on behalf of Transport and Main Roads.<\/p>\n
