Winners shine brightly: Atto\u2019s AllStars took the HAY We Deadly Touch Footy title at Murgon State High School when they beat CTC 6-5. They include front: Kieran Thompson, (teacher) Megan Atto, Celeste Purcell and Fred Cobbo and back Murgon Police Liaison Officer Victor Alberts, Barwoo Fisher, Hayden Oberle, Joel Sommerfeld and Amy Atkinson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The third annual Healthy Active Young (HAY) touch footy carnival was held at Murgon High School on Monday.<\/p>\n

More than 60 players took part in the event which pitted Murgon High against St Mary\u2019s Catholic College, police, teachers and community service workers.<\/p>\n

To be eligible to take part, students had to have all their school assessments completed and undergo a health check before the day\u2019s play began – but after that, the competition was on for young and old!<\/p>\n

In the end, Atto\u2019s AllStars came out on top in a 6-5 thriller final against the CTC team.<\/p>\n

Organiser, Cherbourg Community Health worker Joanne Simpson said the games fostered positive relationships and promoted a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n
