The Blackbutt Singers are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, and they’re planning something special to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, November 27, they will be holding a choral concert in Yarraman with a distinct twist.<\/p>\n

The group perform at a range of events around the region each year, and for their birthday concert they have invited their friends from the Esk Community Choir, the Caboolture Community Choir, the South Burnett Chorale and Nanango’s Vocal Mayhem to join them for the day.<\/p>\n

Each group will perform separately, then all five groups will join together to form a massed choir of 150 voices to perform the final numbers – something never seen before in Yarraman, and only rarely seen anywhere else in the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

The concert will be held at the Yarraman Memorial Hall in Browne Street from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.<\/p>\n

Tickets – which include afternoon tea – are $10 for adults or $8 for concessions.<\/p>\n

They can be purchased in advance from the Yarraman and Blackbutt Visitor Information Centres, or at the door on the day.<\/p>\n
