October 9, 2016<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 47-year-old man was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital\u00a0on Sunday afternoon with serious injuries after a motorbike crash on the Blackbutt Range.<\/p>\n

The rider suffered serious chest injuries and possible spinal injuries after he lost control of his motorbike on the D’Aguilar Highway.<\/p>\n

A RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to to the scene about 1:15pm.<\/p>\n

A LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor and Intensive Care Flight Nurse assisted Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics to treat the patient at the side of the road.<\/p>\n

The patient was then transferred to the helicopter.<\/p>\n

A LifeFlight spokesman said he travelled in stable condition.<\/p>\n
