Two women have had their vehicles impounded by Kingaroy police in separate incidents this week.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, police stopped a vehicle about 10:00pm on the Bunya Highway on the outskirts of Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

Checks revealed the 45-year-old woman driver was unlicensed.<\/p>\n

Police confiscated her number plates for seven days.<\/p>\n

On Thursday evening, police stopped a vehicle in Haly Street about 7:00pm.<\/p>\n

Again, police checks revealed the driver, a 28-year-old Nanango woman, was unlicensed.<\/p>\n

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said the woman had been previously disqualified by a court from driving for two years, and was a recidivist unlicensed driver.<\/p>\n

Police impounded her car which now may be subject to forfeiture.<\/p>\n

Both women will face charges of unlicensed driving.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A 33-year-old Maryborough woman will face a charge of unlicensed driving after a single-vehicle crash on Mt Wooroolin Road on Saturday night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police believe that the woman drove up the steep road about 9:00pm but failed to negotiate the bend at the top.<\/p>\n

Her Nissan sedan left the road and went over an embankment.<\/p>\n

The driver extricated herself from the vehicle and left the scene.<\/p>\n

The crashed vehicle was reported to police on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Police made some inquiries and then located the driver.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

No one was injured when two vehicles collided in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, on Wednesday afternoon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Nissan stationwagon and a Toyota sedan were travelling in opposite directions about 3:00pm when one attempted to turn into Markwell Street.<\/p>\n

Police investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n

A woman aged in her 40s was taken by ambulance to Nanango Hospital on Friday after a single-vehicle crash in Drayton Street.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The single-vehicle rollover occurred at 11:15am.<\/p>\n

* * *<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A driver allegedly blew 0.127 BAC after he was stopped for a random breath test in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, at 3:00am on Thursday night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 34-year-old Sunshine Coast man will face a charge of drink-driving and unlicensed driving.<\/p>\n

Police will allege he had been previously disqualified by a court from driving.<\/p>\n
