A delegation from a Chinese cosmetics company visited several South Burnett companies last week as part of a fact-finding tour to locate potential suppliers for their business.<\/p>\n

The group, from the Guangzhou Aiyun Biological Technology Co Ltd, was led by general manager Xiaojian Xu and deputy general manager Meihong Pan.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, they visited Bean Growers Australia in Kingaroy, before enjoying dinner at Cassis Restaurant at Booie.<\/p>\n

The menu was designed to highlight South Burnett produce.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the group inspected the crushing plant and oil refinery at Proteco in Kingaroy where they discussed the various refined oils the company manufactures.<\/p>\n

Guangzhou Aiyun Biological Technology Co is based near Guangzhou, formerly known in the English-speaking world as Canton. This is China’s third-largest city and is closer to Hong Kong and Macau than Kingaroy is to Brisbane.<\/p>\n

In 2013,\u00a0Guangzhou Aiyun Biological Technology Co developed a new line of skincare products<\/a><\/strong> for pregnant women called Kangaroo Mommy.<\/p>\n

This brand, which uses high quality agricultural inputs, is now a top-seller online which means the company is investigating more sources for its ingredients.<\/p>\n
