Kingaroy’s Holly Ferling rewarded cricket selectors with some lethal bowling for Australia during the One Day International against Sri Lanka played on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The match, at\u00a0Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla, was the Southern Stars’ first official outing on the tour.<\/p>\n

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat.<\/p>\n

The home side was all out for 76 off 24.5 overs after the Aussie bowlers ripped through them.<\/p>\n

Ferling finished with the best figures, 3\/4 off four overs, including two maidens, but not far behind were Megan Schutt (2\/5) and Kristen Beams (3\/16).<\/p>\n

In reply, the Aussies overhauled the target in the 15th over, finishing with 6\/79.<\/p>\n
