The Queensland Productivity Commission has been asked to conduct an inquiry into the delivery of services in indigenous communities.<\/p>\n

Treasurer Curtis Pitt said on Thursday the inquiry would determine if government investments were “achieving value for money, especially in remote communities”.<\/p>\n

He said it would examine the delivery of health, education, housing, employment, and other services.<\/p>\n

Mr Pitt said the establishment of the QPC was an election commitment and the commission had been operating since November last year.<\/p>\n

It had already completed inquiries into electricity pricing and solar power feed-in pricing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
